Quickly find files, apps, books, movies, and other items that are taking up space, then manually delete items you no longer need. See Find and delete files. When space is needed on your Mac, macOS also clears caches and logs that are safe to delete, including temporary database files, interrupted downloads, staged macOS and app updates, Safari. Mar 20, 2015 Hi, I've got a number of projects on the go and i've got lots of files for each one. Each file also needs to be in a different sub sub sub sub folder, and it's really difficult to manage. I just find myself constantly wading through folder nests trying to find files.
May 25, 2014 If you want to send large attachment on Mac OS X Yosemite, then you can follow the below steps: 1. Open the email icon. Click on the compose mail option and attach large files. If the recipient is on a Mac using Mail, then Mail Drop will not attach the file, it will link the attachment to the email message. Mar 16, 2015 Yeah, using the info in folder names to organize files is extremely restrictive. Not only try tags, but a good tag manager like Yep or Leap, or other software. Those also are great for document management, sort of like an Aperture/iPhoto for non-image files. Another that is great for this is DevonThink.
About Mac > Storage says I have 17.49 GB of movie files. I don't know what they are and would like to see if I can delete or relocate these supposed files to clear up space. I've tried everything, including searching for types of files, thoroughly searching my hard-drive etc. I've browsed many old topics and none of the suggestions have worked. Does any one know how to solve this problem?
